Niklas Savonheimo

Hello, I'm Niklas. Final-year IT engineering student in Helsinki, four years into a broad degree.

In 2026 I spent five months at Professio as part of my praktik, working with customer data in their CRM. I collected and cleaned contact profiles, built custom contact lists for other teams, and set up automations to make the data more useful.

The breadth is the point. The degree has taken me through everything from cybersecurity to machine learning to fullstack, so I'm not locked into one track. Right now I'm pointing it at data and backend work, but I pick things up fast and I'm not afraid of a domain I haven't seen yet.

I like data especially. There's something satisfying about getting a result out of it, even if it's just an optimization that saved half a cent.
